The City of Duluth recognizes the two the annual MMIWR events each year with Mayor Proclamations and Lighting Enger Tower - Red for “Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relative”

Please join communities and families in the Twin Ports, Duluth area for the Annual MMIWR events held on Valentine's Day and National Day of Awareness 5/5/2024 in recognition, memorial and honoring for  Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Two Spirit People & Relatives to help bring the awareness, action and healing needed for our Indigenous/Tribal peoples on Turtle Island and in our local Twin Ports area who are  impacted by violence, loss of loved ones.
