We are excited about the launching of this years 2023 MMIW focused efforts of:
"DownTown Duluth-for Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, 2 Spirit, Relatives"

Missing Sheila St Clair, Naveah KingBird, Jereamy Jordan and all of out MN Missing

In support to the MMIW, MMIWR Annual events held in Duluth to include this years 8th Annual Memorial Marches on Valentines Day and the 3rd Annual National Day of Awareness on May 5th both annual events are held in Duluth, recognized by Twin Ports City proclamations & Lighting Enger Tower, and Red Dress’s

We are providing displays and request you display them in your store front window through the month of May to help bring awareness and support local search efforts to bring our missing home.

Community organizations, organizing teams, individual business, Duluth Police Dept and Non Profit organizations help support these important efforts for MMIW , MMIWR families

Goal is to coordinate local missing search efforts with our business community in support of families and Gaagige - Mikwendaagoziwag Program in the City of Duluth Honor lost loved ones, promote healing & justice, and support local search efforts for the missing Participating Twin Ports Organizations include: Duluth Police Dept, Duluth Indigenous Commission, Black Bear Casino, Native Lives Matter Coalition, Twin Ports: No More MMIWR Great Lakes, Safe Haven Shelter, Men as Peace Makers, Duluth YMCA, Life House, AICHO, Local Community,

Missing person reported with Duluth Police Department, an active missing person case being investigated, BCA was contacted, and the report was entered into the Missing database that crosses over multiple jurisdictions.
